As early as possible, especially for weekends, holidays and popular celebration dates. Last-minute bookings may be available depending on our schedule. Full payment is required at the time of booking, and your date is not reserved until payment is received.

Setup time depends on the size and complexity of your display. Our team handles the complete installation. Standard setup takes place between 6 AM and 10 PM. We cannot guarantee a specific setup time, but we do accommodate requests where possible.

Yes. We deliver anywhere within our service area across Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. We just need an accurate delivery address and a yard that is accessible on the day.

Yes. We deliver, install and remove everything, so there is nothing for you to do. We do ask that the grass is soft enough for stakes, so please water the installation area for about 30 seconds, roughly a 3 ft by 12 ft section. We are not able to install on rock, concrete, artificial turf or frozen ground, and the yard needs to be clear of pets and obstacles during setup.

Yes, just tell us when you book and we will match your colours and theme as closely as our current inventory allows.

Get in touch as soon as you can and we will do our best. Changes are subject to availability, and requests made close to your event date may not be possible.

Cancellations 48 hours or more before your event receive a full refund. Within 48 hours, you receive a 50% refund or full credit toward a future booking. Same-day cancellations are not refundable.

Displays remain the property of XL Yard Displays and should not be moved or repositioned. Damage caused by pets, people, lawn equipment, vehicles or vandalism is the customer’s responsibility, and the customer agrees to pay the full rental cost plus replacement fees for any damaged or stolen items. Please pause mowing, weed whacking and sprinklers while the display is up.

Yes, and it is a big part of what we do. Grand openings, store promotions, employee celebrations, customer appreciation, sales events, new employee announcements, real estate promotions, school events and community events. Corporate packages and recurring or bulk pricing are available, just ask.
